Attention, ARC Raiders! We've got some exciting news and a few important updates to share with you all. The game-changing 1.18.0 patch is here, and it's packed with fixes and tweaks to enhance your raiding experience.
First things first, we've addressed an exploit that allowed players to bypass the Safekeeper Augment and stash weapons in their safe pockets. No more sneaky moves! Similarly, we've fixed an issue with the Snaphook, ensuring it stays put in its designated pocket during use.
But here's where it gets controversial... We've made some adjustments to the drop rates in First Wave Caches on the Hurricane map. Rare blueprints have seen a slight decrease, while high-tier materials now drop more frequently. The dev team explains that this change aims to strike a better balance, as players were consistently scoring multiple blueprints per session. So, while you might encounter fewer blueprints overall, the materials you do find will be of higher quality.
In other news, we've implemented a hot fix for the Dam Controlled Access Zone, resolving performance issues some ARC players were experiencing. Additionally, we've fixed a bug in the "Worth Your Salt" quest, ensuring players can now complete the final stage, even if someone else has already done so in the same raid. And for those who experienced crashes when accessing the Player Proximity menu, fear not! That issue has been resolved as well.
These updates are designed to improve your raiding adventures and keep the game fair and balanced. We hope you're as excited as we are about these changes!
So, what do you think, Raiders? Do these adjustments strike the right balance? We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback in the comments below. Let's discuss and keep the ARC community thriving!
